What is it?

This PCB allows you to change the backlight color of your Flipper Zero to a color of choice. It's supported by various custom firmwares. The board requires some soldering skills and also disassembly of your Flipper to install.

Why did you make it?

The first PCB (for R0x(01) Flipper models) is taken from this Github. I produced it, because I couldn't find a shop selling them in Europe. While installing I noticed that my Flipper (a R04(02) model) isn't compatible with the existing PCB designs, so I created my own.

Works perfectly and fast delivery

Fits perfectly in the original space but I would defenetley watch videos on YouTube first to make sure you know the wireing on your flipper as you have some slight difrence in the install
I would say its a mid level installation

Awesome!

I was afraid of installing this, but now that I did, ITS SO COOL!. It has wire already soldered so the only one you have to do is the soldering to the vibro pad. I routed the cable under the LCD flex cable and I had to cut the screen plastic abit so that it would fit there. Opening the flipper I also destroyed the middle pin of the iButton. But since it has its own fixing hole that doesn't let it fall out, I just soldered a small ball of tin on the pad and it gave perfect contact, so its ok. I Replaced the case with a PCBWay resin printed one and buttons were printed on Prusa textured sheet.

Great Product and great Service

As iam from Germany I was looking a while to get his Mod with cheap shipping. I have the R04 (01) " Version.

Sadly the first PCB was damaged, but the Seller replaced it super fast without any Problems.
Installation was easy If you know how to solder.

According to all the how-to's outside you should solder an additional GND Connection to the RGB Modul. I did it first too, but on the replacement Board I tested it without an additional GND Connection, and it works perfect. You only have to Connect the Data Input Line tobthe Vibro Pad, thats all.

I would buy here again If i had another Flipper
