Warning C128DCR owners

Warning to all Commodore 128 DCR owners. This module is pin compatible, but will not fit inside the case because of where the L4 MOS 6526 is located.

This is made only for the flat 128. Quoting the description.

"Internal Swiftlink compatible Wifi Modem for the Commodore 128 Flat model"

I doubt that it will work even if you do get it plugged in, because of the metal case of the DCR. That would block the Wifi Signal from passing.

Great product and excellent value!

Currently using the internal modems on flat C128 computers. Very convenient to have internal modems which keeps the cartridge port free so I can use the Lt. Kernal hard drives without needing a cartridge port expander.

Have personally used the modems with CCGMS 2017, CCGMS 2019, CCGMS 2020, Desterm v2.00, and with Centipede BBS. Work perfectly.

Very easy to install and setup as long as you are comfortable opening up your computer. Seller is very helpful and responsive to questions with some configuration problems I was having. Since uses Zimodem firmware as a base, there is plenty of documentation available.
