What is it?

This fake 18650 battery is a replacement for a real battery during the development of your device. It is always a good idea to power your prototype with current limited power supply.

Why did you make it?

I created this tool to help me bring my devices to life without the fear that something goes wrong. You never know if you don't have a short on your PCB or you messed the schematic. I think that it is very brave to put a Li-Ion battery that can put some 10A into your circuit when you are trying it for the first time. Also you don't need to bother with charging/discharging the battery to the correct voltage.
