What is it?

Unus is a 3D printed case for the Raspberry Pi Zero (W) and supports various display hats used in popular open-source projects. This case encases the board and display hat in 2mm of plastic while still enabling access to the buttons or joystick on the display hat, USB ports, display port, and SD card port. Choose the optional keyring to attach it to your backpack, or key chain and take your stack to go. The surface mount allows you to attach the case to your cabinet or vehicle. With over fifty colors and multiple pattern options to choose from, I can customize your case for your unique style.

Why did you make it?

I designed Unus initially for using different display hats on my Pwnagotchi devices. Over time I found other projects I enjoyed on a RaspberryPi Zero that required a different display hat. I wanted to provide as many options as possible for display hats, and I will continue to add more.

Case Thickness

Unus support two sizes, the standard, and the slim. The standard supports a Pi Zero with a normal set of GPIO headers soldered on. The "slim" version, popularized by the Pwnagotchi community, shortens the Pi Zero GPIO headers to a narrow 3-4 mm height, reducing the space between the display header and the Raspberry Pi Zero.

What comes in the package?

You will receive one 3D printed case in the color/style of your choosing (standard, keyring, or surface mount), the chosen cover hat version, and a little something extra from Dad <3.
