If you want to upgrade your K40 laser e.g. with the MKS SBase, Mini Gerbil, Ruida or similar controllers you need to be able to acess the connections to endstops and the x-stepper. Unfortunately in the K40 those signals are only available on the custom flexwire connector of the built in M2 Nano Laser Controller.
This board puts all all flexwire pins to screw clamps and/or 2.54mm pinheaders so that they are easy acessible. For the connection to control the x-axis stepper motor you can use the on board 2.54mm pinheader or as alternative the screw clamps to connect the x-axis stepper motor.
With this board also makers without soldering skills are able to add a 3rd party laser controller to the K40. As special addon it visualizes the endstop status via two LEDs.
This board is plug & play. It comes fully assembled. All you need to do is to put the flexwire from the K40 to the board and you are able to access the endstops and the x-axis stepper.
