What it is?

As its name indicates, it is an Extension of the micro sd memory for the Psvsd Device of the Play Station Vita 3G console, this allows us to place the memory in the old SIM slot of the 3G models, the psvsd is a micro sd adapter that is placed in the 3G modem slot of the P.S. Vita, but, once the memory is in place, we would have to open and close the console completely every time we want to access the microsd memory, which is tedious and complex, in addition to opening and closing the console so much over time it could cause wear.

why did I do it?

For this reason we decided to create our extension, whose purpose is to allow quick and comfortable access to the memory used in the PSVSD, it has the exact measurements to be placed without disturbing any internal component of the PS. Vita, no soldering required, no glue, simply replace the small board with the sim connector, place it with a little pressure on the plastic base, connect the other end to the psvsd and that's it, you can use your memory from the comfortable and accessible rear port which was used for the sim card before.

Replaces SIM card slot with microSD extension.

Got this along with the 3G microSD card adapter. Being able to replace the SIM card slot with microSD is fantastic and i like being able to have my game slot free for physical games if i wanted to. or add another SD2VITA and have dual microsSD cards. It is a bit recessed in the SIM slot so it may be difficult to pop the cards in and out with your finger/nail, but still works great. Very happy with this mod.

Great product! Shipping could be better

I ordered this extension with the adapter and the review is the same.

The product is perfect and easy to install, but be very careful about the original screws of the 3G module.
There is a really useful screwdriver shipped along with the adapter.

The shipping needs improvement, unfortunately. One month to arrive in Italy and the tracking was not updated. In addition, I had to pay 8€ for customs.
