I was inspired to create this module due to the noticeable lack of indoor, low-power solar solutions, reminiscent of the classic Casio calculators that many of us grew up with. The driving force behind this project was to fill this gap by providing a reliable solar power source for low-consumption indoor projects. Additionally, a key motivation was to promote green, self-sufficient energy solutions in the DIY community. This module is not just a tool; it's a step towards more environmentally friendly and autonomous electronics projects.
What sets this module apart is its dual-input capability, allowing it to charge batteries via solar panels or a USB-C port. It’s not just about harnessing solar energy; it's about flexibility and adaptability in power sourcing. The Buck-Boost technology ensures a stable output voltage, making it suitable for a wide range of electronic devices. This project blends innovative engineering with practical design, making solar power more accessible for DIY projects.
Dual Solar and USB Charging Capability: Designed to charge a battery using either a solar panel or a USB-C port, providing versatile power sourcing options.
Optimized for Low-Power Indoor Projects: Ideal for low-energy consuming devices such as calculators and small sensors, tailored for indoor environments.
Efficient Single-Cell Li-Po Battery Management: Integrates a CN3063 chip for optimal charging and safety of single-cell Li-Po batteries.
Stable and Adjustable Voltage Output: Features a Buck-Boost module for a stable 3.3V output, which can be adjusted by changing a resistor, catering to various project needs.
Energy Modes for Efficiency and Performance: Includes two 0-ohm resistors, allowing selection between a low-energy mode for maximum efficiency and a normal mode for consistent performance.
