What is it?

The AttenuVerter is an double channel CV processor. It is capable of attenuating, inverting and offsetting two independent Control Voltages.

This is a full featured Eurorack module, in 4 HP width front panel, with jack connectors, and the addition of an offset potentiometer per channel.

An "attenuverter" is extremely useful when you want to adapt a CV.

For example, if you want to increase or decrease the amount of CV you apply to a VCF cutoff freq. or a VCA : Full clockwise, your CV is x 1 (unchanged). Fully Anti-Clockwise, your CV is inverted (x -1).

It’s also useful for reversing a LFO signal (decreasing ramp instead of increasing ramp).

A bi-color LED shows both the amplitude and the polarity of the output signal. For example: Red and bright, the signal is negative and strong, Green and bright, the signal is strong and positive. And if the LED is off, the output signal is close to zero Volt.

The PCB comes with pre-assembled SMD components. You only need to solder the few remaining through-hole components such as the power connector, the two LEDs, the potentiometers and the jack sockets.

The assembly is then extremely easy.
