Bring Power to your Modules

Every Eurorack Synth needs a power bus. The power bus is the central connection point between the power supply and each module in your rack. A good bus is short, able to handle enough power and convenient to use.

Why short? Because the less distance there is between each connector, the less impedance is added between each module. The impedance on the ground rail (the 0 Volt reference), needs to be as low as possible. Having short copper tracks reduce that impedance.

With the Eurorack Power Bus - 26, you can connect and power up to 26 Eurorack modules at once!

This board only needs + and - 12 V power supply. +5 V is generated by an on-board linear regulator. Screw Terminals are versatile and let you connect your bus to any kind of power supply.

3 rail visualization LEDs are present to show you if there's energy on the rails, and if the polarity is correct.

The bus is very easy to solder and to build: no SMD, only Through Hole. Very detailed silkscreen for easy component placement.

What makes it special?

It's compact, affordable, and easy to use. You only need a 3 rail PSU (-12, 0, +12V). +5V is generated by the bus board itself. The PCB is 25 cm x 5 cm. Easy to integrate within a 84HP row.

8 Screws per board and 1.6mm thickness make the PCB really stiff and you can pull and push connectors without problem.

About connectors

HE-10 Connectors are keyed: they decrease the risk to connect the modules in wrong polarity. But, you absolutely need to check your wiring twice before powering the bus!

Always check voltage polarities and modules's power connector pinouts before powering anything!

Compact High Quality Eurorack Bus Board

In my search for a Eurorack bus board, I happened to discover David's blog, which I highly recommend. David documented in detail the development and background of the Power Bus series. The Power Bus 26 is exactly what I was looking for: compact, many connections, well designed and high quality manufacturing. I use the Power Bus 26 in my DIY case and am very satisfied and happy with the bus. I'm interested in buying another assembled board. Thank you very much David!

It's easy to source the parts and easy to build

So far I've done only some simple testing but the instructions are clear and the build quality is good! Seems like this thing is a winner :D

26 Bus connectors? HECK YES

Because I live far away this took a little while to get to me, but David was great at communicating the shipping information.

The build was really easy. I accidentally had some legs shorted, so after troubleshooting that, I got it hooked up and running just fine.

Right now I am pushing 37 or so modules from it, by using flying bus ribbon connectors, and its holding up JUST fine.

Amazing product, customer service, and experience.

If you are *thinking* about getting this, you should probably just get it :)

Great power bus for my 6u 104hp euro rack.

Great power bus for my 6u 104hp euro rack. I have replaced my three home made boards with this one and 1 small home made board.
The size is perfect and the component are good quality.

One small minus point. Leds on the board polarity signs are not so clear.. I need to look at the wiki for leds connections. In 5 minutes.. problem solved.

Thank you Herman, I take note of your comment. I'll see what I can do to improve the silkscreen or the documentation. The square shaped pads are the cathodes of the LEDs (shorter legs).
