What is it?

This is a Powerful and Compact Switched Mode Power Supply for Eurorack Synths.

It's powerful: it can deliver 1.25 Amps per channel (2.5 Amps total, 15W+15W).
It's small: only 4HP Wide and depth is 50mm (add some mm for wires on the back).
It's also lightweight, there's no cumbersome transformer. Perfect for your small skiff.
It's cool: almost no heat dissipation.

How to use?

Place your Power Module in any 3U row, power it with a generic DC Power brick (18 to 36 Volts, 2 Amps, laptop style). The output is located on 2 Screw Terminal Blocks. They allow easy connection to any Bus Board. Connect each corresponding rail ( +12, 0 and -12 Volts) to your bus boards.

What makes it special?

High quality power supply The Power Module uses two efficient MeanWell DC-DC Switched Mode Converters. They ensure low noise and high power without heat dissipation. They support a wide range input voltage from 18 up to 36 volts. Any spare laptop power supply with a 2.5mm DC jack connector, center positive, will fit.

Improved security Output rails are completely isolated from the input. The input is also protected against reverse polarity and surge voltage.

Great and secure Power Supply

Simple but great working Power supply. Looks good and feels sturdy.
It is a switching power supply. Distortion is minimal,... round 10 mVpp and frequenties are far above audio range. So no problem.
Very easy to build this kit even for beginners.
Kit isn't (imo) very cheap but worth the money.

Great little PSU! Easy to assemble with the proper tools

This is a great kit! It was easy and fun to build. I got it together with the 18 slot power bus for my first modular setup. If you want to solder this the right way, be sure to use a decent iron that can deliver enough power as there is a big groundplane and you want to put down the components quick enough without baking everything.

Great module, interactive BOM is very helpful

I have purchased a few modules by David and so far the experience has been pretty good. I haven't been able to test all of them yet but the Power Supply has been built and works perfectly! Output as measured by my multimeter is 12.02V (which I would say is very very close to what it's supposed to be) and approx the same for the negative rail. The only thing I wish was easier was acquiring the plastic mounts. The part number is mentioned somewhere on the website but I haven't found a place where I can order them in smaller quantities. So I went with some pieces of wood + sugru for now. In retrospect I think a kit of PCB + Front Panel + standoffs would have made for a more convenient build :).
