What is it?

The Passive Multiple is the simplest utility module you can find in a Modular Synth, and you really need a bunch of them!

It simply allows you to share your signals from one source to several destinations.

It’s passive: you don’t need to power it and it won’t draw any current.

The module is by default divided in 2 independent sections, but can also be set in a chained configuration by modifying the jumper setting on the back of the module: Place a solder blob on the correct position to modify the configuration.

In chained mode, if no jack plug is inserted in input socket of section #2, the 3 output sockets will be directly connected to the 1st input socket. When a jack plug is inserted, the connection between section #1 and #2 is broken and the sections become temporarily independent.

In a passive multiple, any jack socket can either act as an input or as an output. However, it’s important to connect only one source at a time.

The front panel is 3U/2HP wide. It is made of 1.6mm thick PCB material with black shiny solder mask and textured surface.

The module depth is 15mm.
