Xonic Energy is an isolated and efficient switching supply for the Eurorack format. The module can deliver a maximum of 600mA, 833mA and 665mA at respectively +5V, +12V and -12V.

Features: It's an easy to install power supply because it's in module form. The module depth is quit low, so you can also use it in low depth cases. Furthermore it has LED indicators for each power rail. It also has an extra screw clamp for ground, to connect for example chassis ground.

Input nominal voltage is 24 VDC but accepts between 18 VDC - 36 VDC. So you can use it with a laptop power adapter (typically 18,5 VDC). Use at least a 25 Watt power adapter!

The input is protected against reverse polarity with a diode and a 2000 mA fast fuse. The outputs have shut-off (with auto-recovery) protection against short circuit (all rails) and overcurrent (+12V and -12V rail).

How to install?

Attach stripped wires to the screw clamps. Be sure that they clamp on the wire only and not on the insulation. Also be sure that there's no contact between the wires that are attach to the adjacent screw clamps. Attach the other end to your passive busboard.

Always consider the total current draw for each power rail when adding modules to your setup.
