These come with SMD parts pre-soldered, but you do need to source all of the other parts to make up a module (LEDs, jacks, sockets, microcontrollers and so on). Full assembly instructions and BOM are available on Github (https://github.com/tpcarlson/synth-diy/).
Sycamore: Sycamore is a dual random looping sequencer with quantization and a wide range of scales. The quantized loop can be shifted, mutated, tweaked and otherwise fiddled with in a number of interesting ways.
With CV over almost all the internal parameters, Sycamore allows for tight control over the loop, while maintaining performability with comfortably spaced knobs.
The second output of Sycamore can be configured as a transposition, a delayed copy of the first, or a totally separate sequence.
Oak: Oak is an expander to Sycamore which adds some useful features to the original module.
Trigger outputs on every step, every note change, and at the start of each loop allow for creative patches that stay in time with the melody. Scale shuffle, previously only accessible via a long press on Sycamore, expands Sycamore with interesting patch-programmable quantization options.
The loop can be reset back to the first step after a trigger input or button press.
Sycamore’s four main parameters that control the loop - Shift, Quantize, Length, and Range - may also be locked at the press of a button.

Logic: A straightforward, no-nonsense quad logic processor. Triggers, gates, audio - whatever you want - can be mangled, merged and digested by logic gates and the result used in creative patches.

DrumFiend: DrumFiend is a trigger-to-MIDI processor. Send it triggers, and it’ll send out MIDI notes to a connected drum machine.
With the default firmware, DrumFiend is set up with a drum map for the DrumBrute Impact with each trigger input corresponding to a drum. Inputs on the left and right hand side are the normal and “colour” versions of the various drums, with trigger input 19 reserved for the cowbell.

Dice: Dice is a 6-output probabilistic signal router. Whatever goes in to the input gets routed to one or more of the outputs. Clocking Dice changes where the input signal goes, based on a dice roll. The input to output signal path has zero-crossing detection, so you can route audio without worrying about clicks, pops and crackles usually associated with a sequential switch.
