What is it?

It's a fully assembled and programmed compact wireless devices (temperature, humidity) with 2.13" e-paper display, resolution of 250 x 122 pixels. The device has an industrial look, at least I wanted to achieve this. The sensor has good energy efficiency. Powered by CC2530 chip (Zigbee). This is an open source project.

Why did you make it?

I am interested in making original devices that are not on sale.

Right now, I'm very interested in low-power, cost-effective wireless devices.

What makes it special?

• Wireless communication standard is Zigbee, works with Zigbee2mqtt, ZHA.

• RF module EBYTE E18-MS1-PCB with CC2530 chip.

• The project uses e-paper display (GDEH0213B72) from Dalian Good Display Co.ltd or 2.13inch e-Paper V2 from Waveshare Electronics.

• Long runtime with one CR2477 battery(950mA).

• Consumption in sleep mode 1.8μA.

• Reverse polarity protection

• The device has a temperature and humidity sensor SHTC3.

• Graphs of temperature and humidity for the last 24 hours are displayed.

• The case is printed on a FDM 3D printer, color: PLA Carbon Black. After printing, the case is further sanded and polished.

• Inside the case, magnet are installed for fixing to magnetic surfaces(optional).
