What is it?

It is a miniature temperature and humidity sensor with a small e-ink display. The sensor has an industrial look, at least I wanted to achieve this. The sensor has very good energy efficiency. Powered by nRF52 multi-protocol chip (BLE, Zigbee, Thread, ESB). The device comes preinstalled with MySensor Protocol (ESB) wireless networking software - www.mysensors.org, can also work as a standalone device without a network. Can use both a ready-made device and a device for developing your own software right away.

Why did you make it?

I am interested in making original devices that are not on sale.

Right now, I'm very interested in low-power, cost-effective wireless devices.

What makes it special?

RF module MINEW MS50SFA supplied in several modifications with nRF52810, nRF52811, nRF52832, nRF52840 chips.
Arduino development environment compatible.
The project uses a new e-ink display (GDEW0102T4) from Good Display.
Very long runtime with one CR2450 battery.
The dimensions of the device are the same as for any other wireless temperature and humidity sensors without a display, but this sensor is with a diplay.
The ability to install different sensors (si7020, si7021, sht20, sht21, htu20d, htu21d, shtc3)
The case is printed on a 3D printer, PLA Carbon material is black, graphite. The case is polished.
Inside the case, magnets are installed for fixing to magnetic surfaces.

Great little tool

This purchase was a way for me to get more into the sensor world and it's exactly what I wanted. The finish on the case is surprising nice, it don't look like a 3d print. It does exactly as it says displays the basic information nicely. Power draw is really good. Shipping was slow, getting to the East Coast of the US. Not a big deal just expect it to take a while to get to you. Love this little thing, its been helpful and excited to play around with it a bit more.

Lovely little station

This is a lovely little meteo station (and the holding magnets are a genial idea!). It is also a very good use for thise annoyingly slow e-Paper displays. I am planning to read it with my Raspberry Pi and store the data into an ad-hoc database, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet...

To Tindie: I have NOT had, nor needed, any communications with the creator, but I am obliged to fill in the field nevertheless. Maybe this could be improved in the future? I do give him five stars "on confidence".
