We have created a geolocation and dispatch solution that tracks team members indoors and outdoors using LoRa texting and GPS technologies. You use AES encrypted LoRa texting to communicate while GPS data is automatically shared in the background.

The radios are designed to improve communication between team members where location is determined by a central coordinator. In addition, each team member can view all other team members in the area. The system is ideal for people in the hospitality field, security teams, warehouse teams, facilities managers, park rangers and emergency workers.

How the GPS Feature Works

Your smartphone has the ability to track your location without cellular service or an internet connection. Our LoRa radio obtains your location by using a new app that taps into the GPS system inside your smartphone. The new app provides all the texting features that are available using a regular direct browser connection and GPS services.

Using the GPS service is two-step process:

First, make sure your phone is in Airplane Mode. The LoRa radio functions as a Wi-Fi Access Point. Under Wi-Fi networks, select the name TextService for the desired radio. Many phones will alert you that there is no internet connection.

Next, launch the texting application and press the "Connect" button.

You are fully connected to the LoRa radio with GPS service when the blink green screen indicator appears in the lower-right corner of the application. You can see other radios in you radio range by pressing the GPS Log button.
