What is it?

The goal of this module is to connect all of your Somfy RTS blinds and shutters to Home Assistant. This works using ESPHome and some custom code already written for you!

Before buying this product make sure your blinds are of the RTS variety, you can verify by looking at the back of your remotes or the RTS symbol (see last picture).

This product consists in:

• An ESP32
• A CC1101 Module
• A custom PCB
• A 3D printed box.

All elements associated with an old USB phone charger provide everything you need to connect your shutters very quickly. Alternatively you can leave the device plugged in to your PC running Home Assistant.

Quick start guide

The board you will receive have already been tested. To adapt it to your home you need to connect it to your computer running Home Assistant, open ESPHome on that device, click on add a device and follow the instructions here https://github.com/Viproz/esphome-somfy/tree/master#usage to create your yaml configuration. Why did you make it?

After doing many small projects to connect different parts of my home I decided to share some of my work with everyone, the project software on ESPHome is fully open source and I propose here a complete working design with some hardware.

What makes it special?

This project was tested in my home for more than a year!
