Read More…These never sold well at all; I sold maybe half a dozen per year. After the clearance failed to bring in any sales over 8 months, I gave up. The remaining inventory is in storage due to an in-progress move, and are going to appear as part of planned "sold-by-volume decorative/soldering practice PCBs" with the rest of the boards that sold very poorly or which were defective and not salable for their original purpose (it will be some flat rate, US shipping only as the international ship fees would be prohibitive) for a priority mail small flat rate box with as many boards as will fit). The boards that will be sold like this (including these) filled a moving box half full, and was almost too heavy to carry.
Using the Nucleo boards is made unnecessarily difficult by the pinout of the board: Two sets of 2x19 pin header, with the pins arranged seemingly at random, with no labels on the board, and few landmarks to count pins from. When I've been working with them, I've wasted a significant portion of time due to connectors being on a different pin than I thought they were. I quickly realized I needed some way to organize and label the pins.
This board converts this incomprehensible pinout to rows of pins, grouped by port, arranged in order of pin number within that port, and clearly labeled with the alternate functions of each of these pins, in order to facilitate development. Alternate functions listed include "ADC", "PWM" (pin can use one or more timer output compare channels), SPI, I2C and USART pins (marked with the number of the peripheral, for example "SDA2" indicating that the pin can be used as the SDA line for I2C 2). It is also equipped with a spot to install a barrel jack for power, connected to (where else) Vin and Gnd.
It was designed with Espruino ( http://espruino.com ) in mind, but it should be a big improvement for anyone using the Nucleo boards for development.
There are two versions shown in the pictures. Version 1 is shown at the top, and does NOT have a separate bank of Vin, Gnd, +5v, +3v3 connections. Version 2 has these, as well as somewhat better silk screening. Version 1 is no longer available.
