Overview

The Sick of Beige (SoB) RS232 is a universal RS232 breakout board.

We call it universal as all the pins (8 in total but not ground) from the 9-way RS232 DB9 are broken out onto pin headers. To connect up to these are the 4 signals (T1,T2,R1 and R2) from a MAX232 (or equivalent) RS232 chip are also broken out onto pin-headers. So you can swap around the transmit and receive and handshake signals as you like.

Screw terminals are provided for easy connection.
