Got the card fast. Good quality! Wish you had sold it with the CF-port already soldered as I struggeled with that. But it worked in the end.

Great Product but faulty 74LS688 let it down.

This is a really great PCB Kit. It went together really well, and soldering the CF Card Connector wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. Needless to say it didn't work, and after spending a few days, and a small fortune on CF Cards, I ordered a new set of ICs...Lo and behold both 74LS688 chips were faulty!!

Board is now working fine. Shame it didn't get all 5 Product stars, but it could have had the seller tested the ICs.

Thanks for the review, the 74LS688 is hardly available so I'm buying used ones, it is weird since all 74LS688 chips are tested by myself in advance using the TL866 programmer.

P.S.: Soldering the CF adapter went smoothly with a normal soldering iron.Flux and desoldering braid required.
