All GPIO ports which are connected to the GPIO header pins have their own solder point, which is properly marked. The pitch of 50mil / 1.27mm is compatible to the standard pitch of 2.54 mm, but allows higher flexibility for the mounting of components. Through holes have a diameter of 0.9 mm. Standardized pin headers with squared pins of 0.64x0.64 mm can be applied. The height of the 40 poles connector matches the height of RPI 3, RPI 2 and RPI B+. Four standoffs including screws and nuts allow the stable mounting of the Proto Hat PCB on the Raspberry. The safety distance to the upper side of the USB plugs of the Raspberry is about 2 mm.
The board is double sided, holes are through plated. Material is 1.5 mm Epoxy. The surface is tinned for easy soldering. Solder stop is applied on all other areas. The overall size of the board is 86 x 56 mm. The GPIO pin header has 40 pins and is gilded. Included in the package are four standoffs including four screws, four nuts, four washers, all made of nylon.
(Please note the components and the RPi on one of the images shows the usage of the Proto Hat and are not included in the offer).
