The nylon frame holds 20 Printed Circuit Board Faces with real gold plated numbering and lightning patterns that light up as it rolls, giving the appearance of casting a spell. In addition, this die knows what it rolled, lighting up Pure red on a natural 1 and pure green on a natural 20. The remaining faces smoothly fade between these colors, getting more green as you ascend the scale, and more red as you descend.
Full source code and hardware can be found on my GitHub page allowing anyone who knows C to adjust the colors and function of this die.
Finally, great effort has been put into making this thing last. When set on the shelf, it should take somewhere around 2-3 years for the battery to discharge, and it should stay nicely illuminated for at least 500 rolls, assuming you're rolling it for a full minute each time.
