Daikin is renowned for producing top-notch air conditioners, but their implementation of IoT (remote control over the Internet) falls short. Their app lacks robust support and stability. If you're considering integrating your air conditioners into systems like MQTT or Home Assistant, or if you simply desire basic web control/status for your units, this device offers these capabilities. It seamlessly replaces the original Daikin WiFi module that can cost up to 350$!

The setup is straightforward, appearing as an access point with a web setup page on 2.4GHz WiFi. Enjoy local web page control over WiFi without the need for an app, external internet, or any cloud service/signup. For automated control, connect to an MQTT broker. Integration with Home Assistant via MQTT is possible, and it can also interface with certain BLE temperature sensors as an external reference in the room.

You can also purchase this module directly from the author but for people outside UK (like me) it can become very expensive after taxes and parcel forwarder so this is why I created this listing.

Note: this product is an assembled PCB without housing or leads, and fits the same leads as the Daikin WiFi module. To complete the setup, you'll need a lead for the S21 or X50 port.
