What is it?

VynEL™ lighting is a heat bondable, machine washable, flat, flexible, stretchable light that can be added to nearly any type of clothing easily, with nothing more than an iron or heat press. The kit includes two pieces of VynEL™ material, a wearable silent inverter, and rechargeable battery. Kit also includes some heat transfer vinyl which can be cut with a plotter (like Cricut), or even a steady hand and an Exacto knife.

Why did you make it?

Let's face it. We can all be safer at night, whether heading out for a jog or taking the dogs for a walk. But the problem we face is we can look like a construction worker, or use a flashlight. This kit makes it easy to add lights to nearly any clothing, giving an integrated light that looks cool. The heat transfer vinyl makes it easy to create custom logos or words easily.

What makes it special?

This kit is super unique that is easy to DIY, and even a fun family project to add a flexible, and stretchable light to backpacks, outerwear, pants, and more. The inverter can be controlled through PWM so it's even able to have external controls through Arduino's, Raspberry Pi's and more.
