An interface for mounting our dual-battery shield on our generic chestplate-harness platform's curved surface. Whatever you're powering... do it with standard-format, rechargeable batteries available in generic. Get the hot-swapping option and you can top-off power without interruption¹.

To install: Set the snap-off positioning guides along the chestplate bottom edge and drill the screw holes² through the mounting plate. Take care to drill the holes perpendicular to the flat plane of the mounting plate, not the curved surface of the chestplate. Set a screw after every hole drilled, so the mount doesn't shift between holes. Dismount before removing the snap-off guides (to avoid pulling the screws out of the polyurethane) and superglue³ the battery shield to the mounting plate. Re-mount. Don't overtighten the screws or they will drill out the soft polyurethane. Use threadlock fluid if you like, or if sometime later you have done/undone the screws too many times and they've become loose - but don't overtighten.

¹ More importantly (vs. charging-while-running from an aux power bank), without power conversion losses... so you get the efficient maximum out of both the weight you're carrying and the volume occupied.

² A 1/16" drill bit may work just as well - we used 5/64".
