What is it?

This is a two-MCU board that runs any standard LCD Display that uses the 8080-style interface.

Why did you make it?

There are already a lot of nice displays that run on the Arduino Uno. But once you use them there are no pins left for anything else! The LCD Display Board uses one Atmel 328P MCU to control the display and one to operate the shield. I2C and Switch Selectable Serial connections are on the board.

What makes it special?

It works really well and you will be very happy with its performance. I made six versions of this board prior to releasing this version v1.03. All the wiring errors are corrected and it operates as expected.
