On another occasion, I used a desktop preamplifier with differential inputs but only wanted to use a single oscilloscope probe. In yet another instance, I aimed to split the inner and outer conductors of a coaxial line into their respective incoming and returning pathways. In all these cases, a converter capable of converting between balanced and unbalanced signals without baluns, resistors, or magnetics would be helpful. So I decided to make one, since no one else has. Hopefully, my creation can help you with your signal conversion troubles!
