What is it?

This PCB is a Sharp LCD controller. It has a DS3231 RTC on board and it's corresponding small LIPO battery, to keep the time if you want to make a clock. But most importantly this RTC is there to generate the required square-wave that is required for this LCDs (Otherwise LCD may suffer and go bad after sometime)

Why did you make it?

Some time ago I made an ESP32-C3 version for a SHARP LCD controller that I've never published. This is the upgrade of this old version. The initial idea was to support touch since there is a batch of this displays in eBay, that have a Mxt144 Atmel touch on board. Long story short, I failed in the pinout for the bottom row of the touch connector, hence this are coming to the Flea Market at a reduced price. Getting one PCB you are also helping me to finance next batch.
