What is it?

This is a professional Eink display that is used in color ebook readers. Is a color array display meaning each pixel has either a R, G or B filter on top. If you ignore the pixel arrangement then it acts like a normal 16 grays epaper display.

Why did you make it?

I made a PCB for it using epdiy as a driver but at the end the project was never released. You can use epdiy as a driver only the waveform needs to be adjusted to get more perfect grays.

The displays comes shipped with its original ICE controller based on IT8951 chip. You can try it using their demo program for the Windows OS.
