Fasani asked which panel I want to use so they made sure it works and what can I say: It did. The documentation is enough to get started. I am happy to tinker with this board without needing to solder it myself :) Thanks!

Thanks Florián, I’m very happy that worked out for you.
In the next weeks I will be working in an new release trying to improve the deep sleep low consumption of the board and probably will have a new and powerful RTC

Thanks a lot Maksym. I'm very glad you like the extra USB-C port that goes directly to ESP32S3. In fact there is a lot to be researched in this field. If you switch to my branch: s3_color_implementation you will find an example to add SDCard support and make an offline JPG browser (Folder /examples/v7-usb-device)
Great to see the community is starting to engage with the version 7 of the Board I really hope developers build interesting things with this new v7 epaper controller!

Great board and great seller

EPDiy is such an amazing project, and this is the perfect place to get yours! Receiving a nicely packaged PCB tested and ready to go definitely makes it a breeze to get started with epaper. Also with the esp32-s3 this is a lovely platform to build your project, with quite a bit of ram and dual core processing when you get the hang of freeRTOS. And I'm extremely happy that v7 comes with the USB CDC port, that way one can send data to display at a decent pace.

Thanks a lot for your review Simon.
I must say that for the 99% of the hard work of this PCB including the powerful component we need to thank Valentin that cracked how to do this with Espressif MCUs.
All feedback is appreciated. After January I will make a pause to make some more ambitious and smaller V7 boards, maybe to target small products like photo-frames or custom e-readers. Soon more news. Keep tuned and keep hungry to create new stuff!

This board works great!

I can't recommend this seller enough. The communication and thought taken by Fasani Corp is amazing.

Firstly I needed the board shipped to the UK which wasn't initially a checkout option. So I got in contact and they were more than happy to update shipping settings on Tindie for me.

The delivery process went really smoothly and tracking was available.

The V7 board itself works great and the extra connectors in this revision are exactly what I've been looking for.

From what I've seen so far, there seems to be regular activity over on the epdiy Github. I'm looking forward to continuing to use this board and contributing back to the community around it.

Fasani Corp have been very responsive to any queries I've had and I highly recommend them as a seller of any of these EPD boards.
