What is it?

This PCB is a Sharp LCD controller. It has a DS3231 RTC on board and it's corresponding small LIPO battery, to keep the time if you want to make a clock. But most importantly this RTC is there to generate the required square-wave that is required for this LCDs (Otherwise LCD may suffer and go bad after sometime)

How to get a display

The seller is called Jason and there has been communication with him. He told us there are approx. 200 units available from a project that was at the end not mass fabricated (BTC wallet)

IMPORTANT: I've one additional SHARP display that can be bought at the same price than the ebay purchase. Even lower since is shipped in one time. But it comes sticked to the PCB with double adhesive tape. And also IMU is per default I2C (JUMPERs joined)

There is a small correction to be done in the PCB for next release: IO13 is tied to the SDA line. I should have added an extra jumper there (Not big mistake anyways)

Why did you make it?

Some time ago I made an ESP32-C3 version for a SHARP LCD controller that I've never published. This is the upgrade of this old version. The initial idea was to support touch since there is a batch of this displays in eBay, that have a Mxt144 Atmel touch on board.
