The FemtoduinoUSB (currently, revision 13) has the same pin count as the Arduino Uno, so any sketches you can run on the Arduino Uno also run on the FemtoduinoUSB, ...no modificiation to your sketches or your IDE are necessary! The FemtoduinoUSB uses the Micro B USB connection (the same one used on newer cell phones).

Femto works great!

I picked up one of these so I could build my own Arduino-based circuit board to power my paintball gun and write my own code for it. The Femtoduino is the only Arduino board small enough to work. I built some breakout boards to connect to it and test with. All works well.

It was a little tricky doing the soldering since the holes are so tiny, but I managed to get it done without any issues.

Having on board USB and not having to setup my Uno board for ICSP is great.

I do my initial testing on a breadboard setup with a Nano board on it. All I need to do to use the Femto is swap USB cables, change the Board/Serial port and upload. It's nice and easy!

I would, however, like to see the Femtoduino Shield sold as a separate product, though. Or maybe make a store item that has both the USB version and Shield. Review Image
