These harnesses provide connectivity for 8 analog inputs, and 32 capacitive touch sensor contacts. These boards are connected together to operate on a single I2C communication line. On the back of these boards, you must solder jumpers together correctly so that each board has a different address. One of the ADC boards picks up the "interrupt" pins from the four capacitive touch sensor boards. These signals are passed onto the I2c communication line
I made this board for a MIDI musical instrument which uses many capacitive touch pads, and pressure sensors. This board is great for this, by providing the connection between boards and access to capacitive touch sensor pins along the perimeter, as well as analog inputs, which I used for pressure sensors.
All these boards are connected onto to same I2C communication line, which makes wiring simpler, and also provides easy connection with JST cables.
