Read More…This is a PCB for building prototype circuits for the C64 expansion board. Or you could just connect reset with a button to GND to build a reset button for your C64. Or you could solder an EPROM for for own ROM cartridge.

Some years ago there was a discussion on the forum64.de forum and some people were searching for such a board to build their own extensions for the C64, so I designed this PCB. Besides building your own ROM cartridge or reset button, see for example my Hackaday.io project "C64 LCD display" where I've demonstrated a simple circuit for displaying text on an external LCD display with it:
This is a high quality PCB with ENIG (gold) finish and helpful silkcsreen, which labels all signals of the C64, all accessible on one side, for very easy prototyping. It is open source hardware, you can find the Eagle project and gerber files on my webpage, see the link to the design files below.
