With the open-source EspLight you can control analog RGB ledstrips, floodlights and digital LED strips by an Android APP. It contains an ESP8266 ESP-12 microcontroller so if you don´t want to control it with the APP, you can make your own firmware for it with the SDK, LUA and the Arduino environment.
The stock firmware works with the following LED strips:
Analog RGB
WS2801
WS2811 / WS2812
Neopixel
for soldering instructions, see the documentation website.
