LED strips need to be controlled by WiFi, but they aren´t. So I have designed the EspLight.

With the open-source EspLight you can control analog RGB ledstrips, floodlights and digital LED strips by an Android APP. It contains an ESP8266 ESP-12 microcontroller so if you don´t want to control it with the APP, you can make your own firmware for it with the SDK, LUA and the Arduino environment.
