The standard RC2014 serial choices are not IMHO great. The 68B50 ACIA is both limited and not easy to find. It's not really rated for RC2014 speeds and trying to do 115200 baud with no buffering is a recipe for disaster. The Z80 SIO/2 card is also less than ideal. Buffering is limited, the signals provided on the standard board are also limited and you need an additional CTC card in order to get baud rate control.
This board provides the minimal wrapper around a 16C552 dual UART. It's intended to be easy to build, provide all the modem lines if wanted and with some ROM changes to be a sensible replacement for the SIO or ACIA. Fuzix already supports it, recent ROMWBW also now auto-detects it if placed at 0xA0. Most non Z80 systems expect it at 0xC0 (65C02 card, 8085/MMU with CP/M etc)

We do not ship outside the UK. It is almost certainly cheaper for you to download the files from the linked hackaday.io page and order your own from the PCB house than to ship them internationally.
