A hat for the Pi that can program up to 5 AVR's at once. The port AVR1 uses the PI's hardware SPI, the rest are software (bitbang).

Level-shifting from 3.3V to 5V is handled by three TXS0108E. If you don't need level shifting, there is a simpler version available that eliminates the level shifters which are a bit expensive.

Both versions only support 3.3V on the extra GPIO header.

This is a kit - you will need to do all the soldering yourself. The kit consists of,

• 1x avr5hat PCB
• 1x 40-pin Pi Header
• 5x Shrouded 6-pin headers

Things you will need to buy if you choose the level-shifting version

• 3x TXS0108E
• 6x decoupling capacitors (0.1uF, 0603)

Miscellaneous things you may wish to purchase

• Mounting standoffs, screws, etc (optional)
• 1x6 pin header if you wish to use the extra GPIO
