Meet the Game-O-Tron! This hand-held video game console is powered by a Raspberry Pi 3 and the Recalbox OS. It plays retro games (some freeware ROMS included) and has sound through a headphone jack on the bottom. It has a 4-5 hour battery life, charges with a Micro USB cable (simultaneous charge and play are unfortunately not supported), and has a nice LCD screen that indicates the remaining charge percentage.

It uses original buttons from a Super Nintendo controller (including the shoulder buttons!) and feels great and comfortable in your hands. The case is my own design and 3D printed, so it's lightweight and sturdy.

You will need to supply your own ROMS, which requires connecting the Game-O-Tron to the same network as a PC, either with the pi 3's Wifi port or the network port. You can also play roms off a USB stick.
