Read More…The new renovated design of the Game Boy Advance SP board has been improved by adding features which will help with much easier installation. As before, this board allows to charge the battery by USB-C cable or connect headphones with USB-C or jack adapter to USB-C in your Game Boy Advance SP (Also compatible with Nintendo DS). However, this new model has three important changes:
First, the thickness changed to 2.4 mm instead of 1.2 mm which helps to have the connector as much centered in the hole as possible.
Second, the pads are castellated holes now that make much easier to solder it. (check the video below)
Finally, the new plastic cover is now made with resin 3D printing which with the high resolution provides more details and an improved finish fitted to the shell.
(1) The plastic cap is made for the original GBA SP shell. It may be compatible with other shells, but it will depends on how similar they are to the original.
(2) This feature has been recently added but has a limitation. Before USB-C to USB-C cables were not compatible and they didn't charge the GBA SP. They can be used now, but they work only connected in one side. It means when you connect the USB-C cable face up will charge correctly the battery and the orange led will turn on, but when you connect face down will not do anything. (Supporting double side connecting disable the audio of the speaker. So, this is the best option to keep the audio works and makes the USB-C to USB-C cables/chargers compatible.)
Due to the difference between different monitors, the picture may not reflect the actual color of the plastic cap. The USB-C earphone or USB-C adapter to Jack 3.5mm must be without any DAC inside, just analog device, otherwise it won't work. For example these ones work perfect:

In some countries, the destination postal company does not update the tracking information at every step during the shipment. It is common that they do not mark it as delivered, even if you have received it. In case of any issue, we as senders can open an inquiry to check the actual status of the shipment if needed.
The shipments in this country are managed by the United States Postal Service. If you wish, you can contact them at your local post office and inquire about your package.
If you are not at home during the first delivery attempt, they may not notify you with a notification paper or phone call. Your package could end up sitting in your local postal office for weeks and, ultimately, be returned to me if nobody claims it. It sounds incredible, but it seems that the postal service in some states of the United States is very unreliable. Please be alert about your order.
European customers must need to pay the VAT in the payment progress. Non-European customers may need to pay it for picking up the package. This depends on the maximum value of imported goods for you country.
The giltesa’s shop is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). Damages
If you see that the package arrives damaged, please take photos before opening it.
Whether the package is damaged or not, please test the products are working properly as soon as possible. In general, the products can be tested without installing them. Check the Returns Polity for more details.
If your shipment has not arrived within the estimated delivery time, please contact us so we can file a claim with Correos Spain. They will coordinate with your country’s postal service to investigate the status of your package. Since international shipments involve multiple courier companies, the resolution process may take up to 2 months, although it is usually resolved within 3 weeks.
Once the issue has been resolved, we will proceed accordingly:
Unless stated otherwise, our return policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since you received the package, unfortunately we can’t start a return. To be eligible for a return, the item must show a tracking scan within 15 days of the return being authorized or the return will be closed. The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If you do not have the original packaging additional restocking fees may apply. Please allow 7-10 business days for us to process your return. Business days are Monday-Friday. When purchasing modification kits or any other electrical equipment/components you are expected to have experience and knowledge with these systems. We are not responsible for any damage caused from misuse or negligence by the user. All charging boards kits are tested before they are sent out to you. When you receive it, you should perform a bench test before installing to ensure that nothing has been damaged in transit.
A bench test means the kit is not installed on the video game board. It can be tested connecting the battery and the USB-C charger to the USB-C connector. You will need to split the board from its frame for being able to connect the USB-C charger. If the status lights indicate the battery is charging or is full, the boards works well.
We DO NOT offer refunds for defective items, we only offer exchanges. If you wish to return a defective item for a refund then the normal refund policies will apply. This includes the buyer being responsible for any return shipping or restocking fees. This is to avoid fraudulent returns, we appreciate your understanding. If we determine the return is fraudulent a partial refund may be issued and you will be blocked from future purchases with us.
Once we receive your return, please allow 7-10 business days for us to process the return. All returns are inspected and if approved, then your refund will be processed. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, usually this takes 5-7 business days. Please note that Stripe/PayPal (Ours Payment gateways) does not refund payment fees, this amount will be deducted from the total cancellation refund.
If your item is defective or damaged you must contact us within 15 days of the delivery date or you will not be eligible for a replacement. We only offer exchanges on unused items if they are defective. If you have a defective item you will be able to receive an exchange only and not a return for a refund. Please allow 7-10 business days for your exchange to be processed. If you want to return the defective item for a refund instead, normal refund policies will apply. You will be responsible for return shipping. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email by the contact form. As stated above we DO NOT offer refunds for ANY defective items, we only offer exchanges. If you wish to return a defective item for a refund the normal refund policies will apply. This includes the buyer being responsible for any return shipping. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Orders may be eligible for cancellation before a shipping notification is issued. Please contact us via email using the contact form to see if your order can be cancelled. To return your product, contact us using contact form. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
