What is it?

These are transistor-based logic gates! They come in a kit of 1 XOR, 2 NAND, 1 OR, 1 NOT and 1 NOR "chips". Each "chip" has 2 gates on it, except for the XOR which only has 1 gate.

Why did you make it?

Because...why not! I always wanted to make my own computer, but like, REALLY make my own computer! You can find TTL based computers out there, but not many are made with discrete transistors!

THESE GATES ARE BETA VERSIONS AND WILL BE CHANGED NEXT VERSION (whenever that time is!)

I AM NOT SELLING AND GATES YET

The AND gates do not behave correctly, and I need to debug them in my spare time and respin those boards. In the meantime, I want to sell the ones I have to see if anyone wants to use them!

Behavior

These gates are based on 2222N2 based transistors, and behave as such. There are 10kOhm resistors going into the base, and a 4.7kOhm resistor from power to collector. When powered by 5 volts, they are powerful enough to light LEDs directly. Please use inline resistors for lighting LEDs, as they may push too much current depending on LED color.
