The GW-GLITCHBUS-CF1 CompactFlash interface interfaces standard CF cards to the Glitchbus. It is compatible with all systems that support Glitchbus; however, we currently only offer CP/M 2.2 for the 8085 SBC rev 3.

This card uses I/O space and occupies eight addresses. The default base address of 0x10 is register compatible with Grant Searle's very popular series of DIY minimal chip count computers, which has been used as the standard for many hobbyist computers. The interface does operate the CF card in 8-bit mode -- all good quality CF cards should support this, but we've read reports of some off-brand cards that do not work in 8-bit mode.

All kits come with the CompactFlash socket pre-soldered, so no surface mount soldering is required.

When ordering, please choose the style of Glitchbus connector you'd like. Stacking connectors are PC/104 style and used when boards are stacked one on top of the other, usually with the CPU board having the base connector. Right angle connectors are used with a Glitchbus backplane or other slot arrangement.
