I/O Over Rest

Rest IO is a complete integrated hardware and software solution which provides control on analog and digital input output interfaces over restful web services. As every major development language now includes frameworks for building RESTful Web services with plenty of documentation, support and community, Rest IO makes hardware control trivial for software developers who doesn't want to sink time into embedded development.

Architecture

Rest IO server is a light weight application server running on Java platform. Any system with the latest Java VM installed and USB host ports can run Rest IO server. Rest IO boards are generic USB HID devices again supported by all major operating systems without any driver installation. Rest IO server bridges rest services to RestIO boards controlling them over USB.
