One Pre-filtered Dual Low Noise Amplifier with a built-in Bias Tee for the ADS-B band and
One USB Bias Tee which can be used to power the LNA.
RTL-SDR dongle is not included.
The Pre-Filtered ADS-B Dual Low Noise Amplifier is centred at 1090 MHz with a typical gain of 25 dB in the pass band and Noise Figure of 1 dB. This product has excellent out-of-band rejection specifications, provides power handling of up to a maximum -15 dBm and has an operating temperature range of -40C to +85C. This LNA has an ESD diode at the input for protection from damage. It also has a bias tee feature that allows the LNA to be powered by the USB Bias Tee. To minimize noise, the LNA should be placed as close to the antenna as possible.
One of our customers was able to use this setup to get a 300% increase in number of aircraft tracked and a range increase of 250 miles*.

This product can be used with either the Stratux or Flightaware receivers mentioned in this review.
NOTES The LNA and USB Bias Tee both use SMA-F connectors.
Please note the following precaution since the Bias Tee is installed on the LNA module. When powering the LNA directly using either the DC header or the USB connector, +5 VDC will appear on the RF output. If your receiver does not have a DC blocking capacitor on its input or some other form of DC voltage protection, this voltage WILL damage your receiver.
