This is an ultra linear low noise amplifier that uses the PGA-103+. It provides exceptional gain and noise figure. The LNA can be used in a number of different receiver applications such as Ham Radio, TV reception, etc. The product is ideally suited as a pre-amplifier where the USB power supply means you can power it off your laptop using the included Micro USB cable. The noise figure of this LNA is only 0.5 dB at 400 MHz.

Astonishing results from city center / 1st floor

This changed everything for a default antenna put on the balcony of a 1st floor appartment in a city center block (averages 7 floors, very busy area).

Before using this LNA my RTL-SDR detected at most 10 flight beacons with dump1090, now I get at least 50 beacons almost immediately!

I wasn't expecting that much changes, this totally exceeded my expectations :-)
