This Laser Rangefinder Sensor is the lowest cost & High-Performance LRF/LIDAR Sensor compared with other sensors in the market. It can measure the distance of objects easily ... no need to calculate anything because he does everything & give you the result of your measurement via his serial interface (Rx/Tx) to handle it with any micro-controller you like without any complications like Arduino, Raspberry Pi for example.

This module can take two kinds of measurement:

A Single measurement if you want to take just one measurement of your object A Continuous & fast measurements if you like to make your own scanner (2D/3D Scanner for example)

Notes

• This characteristics can be affected by the conditions of use (strong lighting Sun, Low/High Voltages, Ambient Temperature, reflecting surfaces) Before to use this module with a microcontroller like AVR, STC or Arduino 5V, you need to add a resistance of 1K in serial with Rx & Tx pins to keep the module safe from high current.
• This module works with a supply voltage between 3v to 3.3v & any voltage more than 3.3v will BURN the module!!
