This is a direct replacement for the Commodore 128 main board based on the last Commodore revision of the board, revision 9. It fits both the "wedge" C128 as well as the plastic C128D, but not the me…

Differences to the original

All jumpers changed from solder pads to pin headers
J7 made functional
A11 break-out for the character ROM
No need to cut traces and solder bodge wires
It's a shiny red colour :)
Component values have been added to the silk screen
Built in RF modulator replacement
Jail bars reduced compared to original board
ROM banking jumpers
And many more small fixes and tweaks

Where can I find the old chips? They can either be salvaged from a Commodore 128 board or otherwise located on the Internet.

Do you sell components? No, but the bill of materials in the web page has links to Mouser for many of them.

Beautiful Board

Well built/laid out board, and labeled board. Website is very handy in building it and tracking your progress. Perfect customer service, the one question I had was answered very quickly with good explanation.
Thanks for creating this board. The C128 needs more love.
Definitely would buy more of this creators projects in the future.

High quality board - a Perfect c128 replica

This is an high quality board - check 128 neo site for the BOM list - lot of components can be replaced with modern versions. My board is fully working - 128 40/80 and C64 mode.
