What is it?

a simple soft latch switch using push-button with two MOSFETs.

Why did you make it?

Made for esp8266 boards to power the board on button press and to turn off the power once some action is performed by the board. Works perfectly with ESP8266 also works with other Dev Boards like Arduino. Connect GPIO2 of your ESP8266 to H ON Pin the Latch Circuit (because by default its always HIGH on boot). To turn off the power set the GPIO2 to Low.
