What can be achieved with Aidlab SDK?
To fully understand the potential of the Aidlab SDK, it's best to explore the types of applications that can be created using its sensors. Below are examples of solutions that can be developed for this platform:
Sleep monitor. Aidlab’s chest strap makes it easy to develop a sleep monitoring solution. Simply wear the device overnight, and Aidlab will analyze your respiration and heart rate. The application can then provide insights and feedback on changes occurring in the body during sleep.
Meditation supporter. Aidlab’s respiration monitoring capabilities can enhance meditation practices. When properly placed, the device tracks changes in breathing patterns, allowing the application to remind users to breathe more deeply and slowly—supporting relaxation and mindfulness.
Diet supporter. By continuously monitoring health metrics, an application can use Aidlab to analyze the user’s body and suggest dietary adjustments. Even small changes, such as variations in heart rate, can reveal valuable insights about a person’s habits and lifestyle.
Horror game. Aidlab can add a new layer of immersion to gaming. By tracking heart rate and respiration, developers can create games that adapt to the player's emotional state. For example, if the player becomes too relaxed, the game can trigger events designed to scare them and increase their adrenaline levels, raising their heart rate or breathing pace.
Stress analyzer. Aidlab’s features also enable stress analysis. By collecting and interpreting physiological data, the application can determine stress levels and provide users with actionable feedback to manage or reduce stress.
At its core, Aidlab is a compact computer. It is powered by a 32-bit ARM® Cortex CPU and equipped with an 9-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), advanced biosensors, and a 2.4 GHz radio using Bluetooth 4.1 Smart (commonly known as BLE or Bluetooth Low Energy).
Bluetooth LE. Equipped with improved Bluetooth technology, Aidlab can be used with all of the newest devices.
Efficient Battery. Aidlab's battery will keep it running for up to 1 day of standard using. Rechargeable through USB.
Accurate Sensors. Aidlab uses premium biosensors typically found in medical-grade devices, offering unparalleled precision compared to standard activity trackers.

In my opinion, building health, fitness or IoT related projects is really difficult and Aidlab gives us tools to make a fast start for everyone. It's amazing that you no longer have to be a Steven Wozniak or John Carmack to create great stuff.
Wojtek Kokorzycki, Head of Hackerspace 3City
Aidlab is playing a vital role in creating an IoT-oriented culture at our coding courses. It helps our students to dive into development really fast and smooth. They have an opportunity to interact with wireless communication or data analysis, staying close to the hardware.
