The INA219 current monitor provides an easy to use, I2C current and power monitoring device in a very small package. This device is a high-side measuring device - that means that it goes between the positive output of your voltage source, and the positive input on the device that you wish to measure current draw for.

We use these current monitors in our test jigs to confirm that devices under test are within spec.
