This is an updated version of the V1 adapter. I've made some updates to improve the quality and usability of the device.
The differences from V1 are :
3D printed cover shield to protect the electronics components
Teensy 4.1 to replace 3.6
The pogo pins are of better quality and less pointy
The USB port is now soldered on the PCB directly.
MIDI In jack
Removal of the internal synth engine (Teensy 4.1 doesn't have internal DAC)
4-pin header for expansion (either for future expansions or connect 2 adapters together)
This is adapter for all 3 generations of Pocket Operators, making it controllable via MIDI. There are pogo pins on the board which make direct contact with the exposed button pads on the PO. Therefore we can simulate buttons press by switching the current on and off. The adapter is held in place by a custom 3D printed holder. For the brains, it uses a Teensy 4.1. The main advantage is of this adapter is the fact that you don't need to solder anything on the PO to make it work and it is easily removable.
There are 3 main features :
1.All 23 buttons on the board can be triggered via Midi Notes. It's is powered by a Teensy 4.1 which means you can plug a USB Midi controllers directly into the adapter without external power. Additionally, you can also used a powered USB hub to plug in more MIDI controllers. The microUSB is used to power the device and acts as a USB midi device which means it's controllable via computer as well. The V2 version also has a MIDI IN jack.
2.A MIDI output jack has been provide and acts as a "MIDI Merger". Signals from the USB-host, USB-device and MIDI IN are merged together and send to each other.
3.MIDI clock to PO clock converter
Additionally, there is a looper feature that is currently in beta for PO33. See video here
I've always wanted to be able to control the PO without pressing the tiny buttons without making modification to the PO itself. Unfortunately, nothing of the sort exists on the market yet. There were a few hacks done previously but they all required soldering on the PO itself
No soldering required on the Pocket Operator itself. Using a clever system comprised of pogo pins and 3D printed cover, the adapter can be easily attached or removed.

The Teensy 4.1 is included by default. However, if you live the US, it will probably be cheaper to order the Teensy directly from PJRC. If you decide to order from PJRC, you will need to solder the header pins and program it yourself.
The Pocket Operator is not included
